How To Trade Fours! With Lynn Seaton

Lynn writes: “Here are two audience videos from last week’s North Texas Jazz Combo Workshop where I play the WONDERFUL bass you made for me.  I am so grateful.”

Lynn Seaton, artist (Count Basie Orchestra, Diane Schuur, Bucky Pizzarelli), esteemed educator and definitely not Santa in summer disguise, just sent us these vids! Check out trading 4s with pianist Fredrick Sanders on Can’t Give You Anything but Love (5:30) and his deft arco solo on Alone Together (4:58).

We developed the first Bostonian Model with Lynn, this very bass – his touch brings out all the warm detail of this Poplar-backed instrument. He also the pushed our development of our Angled Endpin Block – sounds clear and looks comfortable. Thanks Lynn, and stop by any time! UB
