Description

This King Moretone Double Bass was built by the H.N. White Company of Cleveland Ohio in 1952.  It features standard sunburst with violin corners, and has all the vintage patina and smart updates a player could ask for.

We’ve done some work on this one, reset the neck, new bridge and adjusters, a New Harmony endpin and rehung tailpiece. Sound great with Eva Slaps, on it – perfect for this instrument.  The bass plays great and is ready for a gig. Big thumping sound!

This vintage upright bass has been remarkably well preserved, it’s violin c-bouts are in good shape and has always been loved by a player. A big American classic.
