All Upton Basses are hand built in Mystic, Connecticut USA. With the exception of parts made from metal (tuners and strings) every part of every Upton Bass is crafted right here in our workshop. We carve our own tops, backs, necks blocks, etc. We even press our own laminates from hand laid veneers. Top quality wood and materials come in our shipping docks and out the other end come fine double basses we are proud to sell. Come see for yourself!
