European Flatback, German Style

A healthy European flat back double bass, probably made in the 1990s and previously restored and varnished by the late great Lou DiLeone. The bass has undergone setup work by Jack Hanlon here at Upton Bass, ensuring it’s playing well. The look and build are reminiscent of New Standard basses, and the string length is 41 inches. This bass gives excellent value for someone looking for a dependable, played-in flat back double bass.
