SOLD: Hawkes & Son Concert Double Bass, circa 1896

Dated 1896, the Hawkes Concert model was the top of their lineup, featuring a canted round back and pronounced arching with generous bout and rib proportions. A well-freshened version of this bass will be ready for generations of majestic low frequencies.
