SOLD: Alain Herou French Style Double Bass Bow

Description

This fine French style double bass bow was made by Parisian maker Alain Herou. Pernambuco and silver mounted, this bow is fairly light and nicely balanced and pulls a forceful, clear note with nice articulation. Very easy on the right hand. Recently cleaned, polished and rehaired with black hair.

Dimensions:
Stick: Round to octagonal at wrap, Pernambuco
Frog & Button: French style, silver mounted and fully lined and complete with Mother of Pearl slide and eye. Three-piece button.
Wrap: Black leather over a silver wire, capped.
Measurements: Hair- 22″, Overall Length- 28″, Length of Stick: 27″,
Balance Point: 9″, Weight- 130.3 gms.
