This Brazilian Pernambuco Double Bass Bow, French Style is stamped “R Siqueira Brazil.” It is made of a reddish-brown Brazilian Pernambuco and is polished to a satin finish. The frog is ebony with a Parisienne eye and is fully lined with highly figured Abalone and silver. The stick begins octagonal, but is rounded toward the tip, and it has a black leather wrap with a protective winding. Made of naturally dense pernambuco, the stick solid and durable. This double bass bow is haired with high quality white horse hair.
Ronaldo Siqueira has over 14 years experience as a bow maker. He has worked with Horst John, Arcos Brasil, and currently for L’Archet Brasil.
