SOLD: Large 3/4 – small 7/8 size bass of Czech origin. Lovely flamed maple and fine grained spruce top.

Description

This unlabeled bass, of possible Czech/Hungarian origin, was appraised at $13,500 by Andy Stetson of Cincinnati Bass Cellar in 2010. It has had one previous owner and is well played in. A very resonant instrument, this bass is well suited for both pizzicato and arco and is currently strung with a Flexocore on the E and Evah Pirazzi mediums on the A, D, and G.
