Description
French Bass labeled Paul Hilaire Annee 1965 No 116
This is a classic shape of Mirecourt basses, most likely built in pieces by different guilds, assembled and then varnished. The basses of this style carry such names as Colin Mezin
and Paul Bisch to name a few.
See here a similar bass that was Stamped Paul Bisch.
Dimensions:
SL 41 3/4″
UB 18 5/16″
LB 25 5/8″
Rib 5 1/4″ to 7 1/2″
LOB 44 1/4″
Notes:
The bass is very playable and usable as is. Priced at $12,500.00. An excellent Solo bass with extraordinary clarity throughout the register. Also a fine instrument for someone looking for a smaller, easier to play bass especially in thumb position.
