Description
Classic pear-shaped gamba pattern bass, with etched purfling and tuners all bear the hallmarks of JTL instruments from the late 19th century. As typical for these instruments, the bass is very strongly built, if not overbuilt, giving it distinctive tone (along with heft and longevity). In fine playing shape, with great clarity when bowed.
