A nice John Juzek Double Bass, black label from the 1950s, made in Germany. 3/4 Size, compact gamba pattern.

This classic pattern is a true workhorse, a fully-carved double bass flexible for any style. It has seen its share of action, but has not been neglected. Some rib and plate cracks apparent, we’ve just had the top off to redress the lower treble side and revisited all the cracks from the interior. Setup has been cleaned and sorted by Jack, with included Full Circle pickup it is ready to gig tonight.
