Description
This John Juzek Prague double bass (c.1930) is a classic Gamba cornered 3/4 size in great repaired condition with a new bridge (not done by Upton) and Pirastro Obligato strings. The back and sides are of lightly flamed maple and the top is fine-grained spruce. It has a wonderfully warm and punchy pizz tone with nice articulation under the bow. Purchase price includes a new nut, fingerboard dress, bridge adjusters and a detailed bridge.
