This Karl Stamitz labeled double bass is a gamba cornered, a solid wood instrument with a nicely figured maple and an antiqued varnish. A well proportioned fully-carved Czech contrabass in very good condition. Makes great jazz, section, or student fully carved upright bass – kind of a 21st-century Juzek equivalent!
