Early 20th Century Mittenwald upright bass, well-played with vintage patina.

Description

This is a well-worn German double bass, which could use some improvements but sounds and plays pretty well.

This pre-WWII Mittenwald is due for setup freshening, but is still a magnetic fully-carved upright bass approaching a century of use.

Bass currently has an “ebonized” fingerboard (Kay?) but could be a great instrument with serious vintage patina.  A soulful old string bass.
