This fully carved Rudolph Fiedler double bass was built in Unhost, in the central Bohemian region of the Czech Republic.  It features violin corners and a slim upper bout, echoing a centuries-old design. It also has some unique weathering and antiquing to complete the aged vibe (along with a few dings and actual repairs). The stylish fully carved instrument with tight grain flamed maple back, neck and scroll.
