We can’t say “never”…but accidents rarely happen here at Upton Bass…maybe it was during a workshop tour that a customer bumped into the bass. Maaaayyyyyybe the little bass elves that work when we’re all at home sleeping accidentally bumped it with a plane or chisel blade? This blemish has been touched up, is perfectly structurally sound and we stand happily behind this bass.
