This is a 2008 Upton Standard Double Bass Opus 103 upgraded with violin corners, built for and sold through the David Gage shop. Package includes bridge risers, Evah Pirazzi strings with lots of life and an olive De La Ville bass bag. Very well maintained by an excellent player, this bass is ready to gig tonight!
This is a great example of our trade-up policy – original owner Claudio Marquez bought this bass new, and is pictured below bringing in this beloved instrument towards his newly built UB Brescian with C-extension for jazz and orchestra.
