Walther Double Bass 2019, Berlin, Germany

Here on offer is a Walther Berlin Double Bass, in 3/4 size. This classic gamba design is fully carved, features a superb German Spruce top and a nicely figured Maple back. Ebony fingerboard, brass Rubner tuners, golden brown spirit-hand varnish. 41″ string length, D neck.

Great upper bout fingerboard access makes this a very comfortable and playable instrument for any style. Lots of clarity and a quick, even responsive voice.

Simply a classic – hand-picked by Gary for our shop at this year’s ISB Convention!  Ready to be auditioned and set up for its first owner at our Mystic shop.
