Description

Beautiful Pernambuco “Art Deco” double bass bow with German grip by R. Zucolloto – Brasil. Nice stick, not overly robust. Nice really sharp bent back to the tip, nice rounded Pfretzschner style to it, not a giant head to it, very elegant, nice heavy bevel – a good shape. Compare to his other bow with nickel – that tip shape is his style. Lizard wrap to it, really unique button, silver with ebony inlays – octagonal, very cool – strips inlaid into it terminating at the end. Ebony frog, sterling silver ferrule, ebony slider, silver lined, unlined at end, it’s just got a nice shape to it. Tip has heavy black plate to it, giving distinctive look. “I like this bow a lot, I like seeing the maker’s hand, their style. Very cool.” – Eric
