Did you know this is our current string of choice for our Standard Laminated upright basses?  After YEARS of using Zyex on our Standard models, we tried a set of Preludes, and we were blown away by the smooth dark tones.  We still use Zyex on the Hybrids, but for the Standard Laminated double basses, these give a nice pizz and arco tone while being one of the most affordable strings on the upright bass market today.
