Here’s a big, sonorous Neville Whitehead double bass from the 1990s with C-Extension. Neville Whitehead has been restoring and building instruments for 40 years in his small Australian shop. One very impressive note – other than strings and bridges he makes everything himself, including the brasswork!

Would make an excellent choice for orchestral work with long bow-friendly C-bouts, but also very responsive pizzicato. (Measurements to follow)
