Our bumpers start with an ebony base(recycled fingerboards) that is fit perfectly to your basses rib. A thick pad of leather is fit atop that for a nice cushion.
Ebony bumpers are a custom made and custom fit product and must be ordered at the time you order your bass.
$200.00 fee includes four bumpers. Two small bumpers for the upper bouts and two longer bumpers for the lower bouts. We prefer to install them on the treble side, but it’s your bass…so we can do as you wish!
