Bassist Adam Booker shared this video of his performance at BASSEURO2018 in Lucca, Italy at the San Romano church. The bass is a UB Brescian hybrid model Gary Upton generously donated to Bass Europe as a grant bass in 2012 at Copenhagen, which is gifted to deserving double bassists for two years. We've gotten to know the recipient's over the years, and they have all been amazing players who we've been honored to have played this bass! I was recently asked about new adjustable sound posts on the market, and I thought my reply would be a good post. Feel free to comment below, I'd love to know what you think!?!? Hey Craig, I think they're a good idea for a travel bass...eventually, they get knocked over by TSA and being able to reset it at 11 pm on a Saturday night when you have a performance the next day is a good idea.
