These Kaplan strings provide the player with excellent clarity from low to high registers and allow versatility and predictable control throughout the dynamic spectrum. Constructed of stranded steel core, G titanium wrapped, D & A Nickel wrapped, E Tungsten wrapped. All DAddario strings are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
Gary’s Thoughts: Kaplan Orchestral Double Bass strings are a nice budget friendly orchestral set that is responsive to the bow. In my mind, it lives in the same family as Pirastro’s Evah Pirazzi.
