Planet Waves NS Micro Bass Tuner

$33.65

The smallest effective bass tuner we’ve found!

Description

We’ve tested, broken and lived with all the small electronic tuners on the market, and this one deserves serious consideration. The Planet Waves NS Micro Tuner by D’Addario is the smallest by far, a very clever design which can live sneakily on your bass scroll without drawing attention to itself.  The NS Micro has very straightforward controls, uses an easily changeable watch battery, and is the size of a coin. We’ve successfully tuned an low-B extension with it.

We especially appreciate the part where it doesn’t look like some kooky eyeball stalk on your hip acoustic! We will report back from the gig with this one.

Here’s the skinny from D’Addario:

Introducing the Planet Waves NS Micro Tuner by D’Addario. The NS Micro offers improved accuracy, faster response, expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode and an improved ratchet design. A highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy to read multi-color backlit display allow smooth, highly accurate tuning in noisy, dim or well-lit environments. The micro design and reversible screen allow the tuner to hide effortlessly behind or mount on the front side of the headstock allowing the tuner to remain clamped to the instrument inside most cases when stored.

A 360 degree swivel mechanism and adjustable padded clamp, offers optimal viewing angles and maximum positioning flexibility. As a result, the NS Micro is equally at home on small and large headstocks, making it the ideal choice for the widest variety of players and instruments. The NS Micro has an auto-off function, shutting the tuner off automatically after several minutes from power up. Enjoy effortless and inconspicuous tuning at a great value with the NS Micro Headstock Tuner. A Ned Steinberger design.
