Description
This John Juzek double bass dates to the 1930s, and has a magnetic vintage quality that just stands out. Sounds great and has the patina and feel of a long played and loved instrument. Original Master Art label from Prague, Czechoslovakia, 3/4 size double bass.
The bass has a pretty big scar on the back, but is sound and stable. We love the color, the vibe and the sound, but it is really asking for a new playing surface and bridge to come alive. Bryan, our resident bass teacher exclaims, “This is a great bass!!! If my own bass exploded tonight I would pick this one up in a heartbeat!”
