Rudolf Oberlander Double Bass dated 1977. Oberlander was a well-regarded Czech builder of fine double basses and cellos until the mid-1980s. After working for the large “Cremona” factory for years, he repaired instruments for the Czech Philarmonic. Oberlander started his own independent shop in the mid-1960s outside of Prague offering a small selection of original instruments.
