This Austrian double bass as seen here is in its current pre-restoration condition! The pricing reflects the future fully-restored instrument.
Very well built early 20th Century fully-carved double bass with deep arching and wide ribs – it will be completely restored with all issues and former repairs addressed. An excellent European instrument waits underneath waiting to be burnished. It would make a fine section, conservatory or jazz double bass for the next owner!
Gary will work on and direct the restoration, re-varnished to your liking. Every cleat and detail will be corrected, finished with a new setup with modern projection, new bridge and thick new Ebony fingerboard.
