Kay S-9 Double Bass 1966 Kay Bass Viol Serial No. 54004
Vintage blonde Kay S9 Model in fantastic shape. Original neck and clean neck joint with new bridge (pictures have been updated to reflect freshened setup).
Good fingerboard with original bevel. Very well maintained example of this classic American vintage upright bass. Pretty outside veneers with straight grain and rippling on the back. New bridge, endpin and strings has it ringing like a bell – plays and sounds great. Blonde Kays don’t come much cleaner!
